About:

History
Being raised in Sarasota, FL the home of the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus, didn't seem to mean much to Ash. Having a flying trapeze rig in your backyard or circus classes at your high school wasn't extraordinary, was it? Not until she moved out to San Luis Obispo, CA did she realize the historical and cultural  influence Sarasota had on her, and how deeply rooted her love for circus was.

Ash began adulting as an art model for the Ringling School of Art where she was introduced to the concept of art as a career. Having always loved drawing, Ash started painting, sewing, sculpting, playing music, and moving her body. In an attempt to learn more about her body's ability, she began practicing yoga in early 2004.

In November 2007, after graduating from Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, it was time for a little adventure. Ash and her bicycle flew to San Francisco for the life changing ride down Highway 1. It only took 231 miles of the California coast to convince Ash to stay, and when she got to San Luis Obispo, she did.

This is where Ash truly began to focus her love for circus arts. It started with a dance class from Jude Warnisher at the local community college, moved onto the small stage with SLO Tease, then to new heights at Suspended Motion.

In 2015 Ash made the big decision: quit your day job to do "this" full time. 40 hours a week at a desk wasn't doing anything good for the training needed to take this dream to the next level. So, she left! And has never been happier in her life.

After completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 she headed up to San Francisco for her first Contortion Intensive with Catie Brier. The next year, during her second intensive, Ash was offered an instructor position in the contortion department at the San Francisco Circus Center. She promptly packed her bags, her life, and her family to head north and the rest is current....
